Hi. As you can see, I work as an illustrator, currently based in the warm south of Spain and collaborating remotely with clients from all over the world — mostly in editorial, cultural and advertising projects.
What drives my work is curiosity, enthusiasm, and the challenge of solving problems that aren’t mine. I’m good at dealing with pressure and finding the right way to approach each brief. Visually, I tend to isolate everyday elements and turn them into something more visible — slowing things down, paying attention to the details that stand out to me once the noise is removed.
I’m drawn to precision, but also to leaving things unfinished when too much information gets in the way. Most of my commissioned work leans toward figuration, but whenever possible, I like to keep a symbolic layer present in the image.
I don’t always feel the need to explain everything. Atmosphere and tension communicate on their own.
A bit more background: I studied Fine Art in Granada, then illustration and video in Barcelona. Before fully committing to illustration, I worked for several years in film and advertising as a set dresser and art department assistant (alongside all the usual precarious pre-professional jobs). Since then, I’ve developed an open, international practice, and I also try to keep space for personal work — a place where I can keep exploring my own way of seeing, away from trends and commercial logic.

Hola. Como ves, me dedico a la ilustración y actualmente trabajo desde el cálido sur de España, colaborando de forma remota con clientes de todo el mundo, principalmente en proyectos editoriales, culturales y del ámbito publicitario.
Lo que siempre ha motivado mi trabajo ha sido la curiosidad, el entusiasmo y las ganas de resolver problemas ajenos. Se me dan bien los retos y trabajar bajo presión. Formalmente, me gusta aislar las imágenes cotidianas para hacerlas protagonistas, visibles, y así poder atender a los detalles que para mí son más llamativos y relevantes, fuera del ruido.
Me fascina la exactitud, pero también dejar las cosas a medias, porque a veces no es necesaria tanta información. Ese interés me ha llevado a trabajar sobre todo desde lo figurativo, pero trato —si el encargo lo permite— de no dejar de lado lo simbólico.
A veces no me gusta explicarlo todo. La tensión y la atmósfera también comunican.
Para concretar un poco: estudié Bellas Artes en Granada, y también ilustración y vídeo en Barcelona. Antes de dedicarme de lleno a la ilustración trabajé varios años como atrezzista y asistente de arte para publicidad y cine (además de los clásicos trabajos precarizados pre-profesionales). Desde entonces he desarrollado una práctica abierta e internacional, y trato también de encontrar un hueco para un trabajo más personal, donde sigo explorando mi forma de mirar, algo más alejada de lo comercial y de las modas.
